Daniel Hudson was awarded a grant from the Dickie Bird Foundation, to help with his clothing and equipment in riding for the disabled. His mum Shirley dropped me a email on Daniel’s progress.

Hi Les

            Hope everyone keeping well, just to keep you informed as to what Daniel as been doing, on the 30^th May he attended and competed in a Riding for Disabled competition held in Wakefield, coming 3^rd in the Dressage non-qualifying section, and 3^rd place in the Countryside Challenge in this section he qualified to attend the National Championships which are held at Hartpury in July, unfortunately due to him and some of the riders going down to Leicester for the Special Olympics National Games in July we had to give it a miss this year.

I am please that Daniel has done himself proud, and benefited from the Foundation grant. We are looking forward to his progress in the Special Olympics in July.
