Dickie along with his life time friend Sir Michael Parkinson, were given honorary degrees, from Huddersfield by University. Dickie said “I am proud to be honoured in this way Particularly in my home town of Barnsley”

Dickie was very impressed with the facilities on offer when he opened the Rievaulx House care home. Touring round and speaking to the staff and residents, who expressed their delight at living in a friendly atmosphere with care staff on duty 24 hours a day.

Tracey form the Albert, along with Dickie celebrates another great evening of fund raising for the Foundation. Tracey and her staff offer a warm welcome, good choice of drinks and food available. You may even get chance to buy a raffle ticket to support the Foundation.
